Plot/Story:
In 1945, at the end of World War II, Saku arrives on Kakeromajima as the head of navy special forces. Admired by the children on the island, he is interested in learning the island songs, as well as drinking with his men. Toe is a local elementary school teacher who has feelings for Saku. One day, she receives a letter from Saku asking her to come to the beach around 9PM that night...
